Very disappointing. The apartment we rented is in a great location right on the edge of the old village (La Calprende). But, when we arrived we were given a map and told follow the map to the location. Anyone who has been in Sarlat knows that between one way streets, confusing singage, everything in French and parking problems, it is hard for a US person to fing their way. It took us over an hour to find it. When we arrived the beds were not made, but instead the linens were left on the bed for us to make ourselves. There was no hand or other soap in any of the bathrooms. Everything outfitting the apartment is cheap, cheap, cheap. Beatrice told me those were normal conditions, no soap, no beds made! It was 40-45 degrees at night and there was no heat. When I asked about that she said, oh it is not turned on yet and her reason was that she would have to hire a plumber to come turn it on and that was expensive. The attitude was, we rent a lot of apartments and do not have the time for this. I definitely would not rent from them again. Poor service and poorer attitude!
